Fun Facts  The pilot episode was filmed in 10 cities in just under 6 weeks in the Fall of 2024.

Each year there are approximately 22 million artists in the world releasing music on Spotify and the major DSPs. Yet, only about 3500 artists are signed by a major label. The reality is, that the music industry as a whole, is supported by the efforts of everyday musicians, singers, bands, and artists making music around the world.
What do these artists want? They want to get paid, they want to record at the best studios, and they want booking opportunities. Most importantly, they want recognition of their existence. They want to know that their art is worthy of consumption. In summary, they want to be DISCOVERED.

Each episode of Project Undiscovered features a collection of emerging artists, in different cities across America pursuing their individual music goals and documenting the creative process from start to finish. Some will be recording their first single, and some an entire album. Artists will launch marketing plans for streaming, and others will perform at a venue big or small.

Project Undiscovered is the first Reality Show about Music, told by the everyday artist, musician, and songwriter. PU offers the viewer a look into the creation, recording, and performance of local artists across America, as they walk their own road to success, on their own terms.

During each episode, each artist will be presented with opportunities from an industry insider's to help further their careers. No more closed doors, no more smoke and mirrors. When presented with the opportunity the artist will have to make a choice, roll the dice or cut and run. These choices are meant to show the viewer that regardless of the individual choice, the outcome is more important than the circumstance. This helps eliminate the fear of “declining a missed opportunity”, the realization that the artist is truly in control of their destiny.

Our journey began in the scenic ocean view of Malibu, California at the historic Agoura Borealis Recording Studio, a former home Studio to the famed country music singer Glen Campbell. Label owner Darryl Scotti of Big Yard Nation sits down with Cory Lerios, Grant Geissman, Joey Gutos and others to discuss the changes in the music industry and the road of the future for today’s creators.

In the heart of the Music city, Nashville’s own artist and producer Jonathan Wyndham reunites with Vancouver recording artist Aaron Lynn Alice to complete her latest Album ‘Razor’s Edge’ in the famed Blackbird Studios.

In the heart of LALA land, we find North Carolina native and solo artist Angela Chambers. She meets up with veteran music producer Bruce Sugar at his home studio in Los Angeles to record her newest single “Everybody’s Talking.” The single serves as Angela’s first segway into the Country Music genre and was discovered by Bruce from her previous work in Pop with “Say it Too My Face,” “Wrong Girl,” and “The Key”.

Back in Tennessee we found ourselves at Majestic Ape Studios in neighboring Franklin, Tennessee for a collaborative recording session with three artists: Jay Alderson, Lauren Reno, and Tre’ Rochelle. We follow studio engineer and owner Ben Reno as he juggles multiple recording sessions in one week and gives us a behind the scenes look at what it is like to run a recording studio in the Music City. These are just some of the exciting stories we can't wait to share with you upon our Pilot premiere. Stay tuned and up to date with our socials as we take this journey from the playlist to your living room tv! Project Undiscovered - Where Your Music is Discovered.
